Time Trip by House of Blondes
House of Blondes delivers such a lovely album with dreamy pop synth passages and just sweet sweet but not sickly melodies.
Somewhere close to Art of Noise and some 4AD touch to it - an album of concise and straight to the point evocative tracks - small Universes encapsulated in minimal yet so rich compositions where you see the reflection of anything atmospheric that was composed on analogue synthesizers and beat machines.
There is 80's touch to it but nothing of a boredom that some bands bring as a revival of post-dark-new wave of those times. Celestial and perenial - full of fragility that is nothing short of genius and hinest to the bone.
