AKIRA KOSEMURA - POLAROID PIANO by SOMEONE GOOD RMSG007 -- 843041045179

The snappy idea of a picture taken and in a second being developed instantly makes me think of a field recordings made in mind, sound-visual pictures of a memories lost in the space of our mind. A soft focus of Polaroid is a great way of getting it more like real - vague and lost in a randomness of how we perceive things from our past.

...and here comes Akira's work - Polaroid postcards of places and times in the inner side of the of the inner sanctuary each of us has. Simple - piano and acoustic guitar based "pop" songs of a Cat Stevens/Nick Drake archetype, yet ao far from them. Touching, sweet, warm bringing happy memories of a childhood stargazing...
