Et Tu & The Warning by Names

Names behind the names are pretty interesting: a sound designer, experimental noise chameleon and producer Gerritt Wittmer (who started Misanthropic Agenda in 1998) and sound producer Jesse Jackson who was involved in Sissy Spacek, Flaspar, live guitar in Liars and band Cindy.
A beautifully released 12" vinyl, mastered by Giuseppe Ielasi and remixed by Ghostknife and Twisted Wires' R. Durham.
Four tracks of electro pop - darkened by an edge of experimentalism and new beat influnce.
In this field you often get a soundtrack for entertaining pursuits.
Names presents something completely different - a seemingly hollow facade of beats, synths and melodies but they skillfully hide something deeper - an invitation to a contemplative reflexion on the state of the world from a post-industrial persepctive.
Quite Ballardian in nature, those four tracks are clean cut electro but don't get swayed by it - it takes you on a white knuckle ride ...you might actually find quite entertaining.
