Elizabeth Anderson is an experienced musician with huge academical background. She has an impressive path of career and work for Universities in US and Europe. Her current album focuses on macro- and micro-scopic forms of life as well as the interaction between them. The whole album can be easily classified as an academical electro-acoustic minimal ambience with lots of synthesis and interesting climaxes. Does it add anything up to the music as such apart from the study of the work itself and the fact that its author has huge experience and talented way towards dealing with composition? I am not sure... The album although has great production and it feels great as a whole doesn't really stimulate and inspire to anything. The atmosphere as cold as it is doesn't help to dilute anything what is interesting. Cold lab-like atmosphere without a touch of emotional aspect left me feeling indifferent. Which I sadly didn't feel like doing because it has its great moments.
