Bordo - Nie słuchasz mnie!

Bordo is a project from Cracow, Poland which recently have released a new album - Nie słuchasz mnie! (You don't listen to me!) and is ever so active within its own niche.
The music on the cd is an interesting mix of singer songwriting aspects of no wave, psychodelic and experimental music but composed and arranged on its own terms.
11 tracks which introduce their own vibe of existentialism and a very well structured tracks with excellent minimalistic bass and murmur of Robert's vocal are the basis of it.
There is so much oness and harmony in all they do in terms of structure but also the consistency of their own style, a bit surrealistic, a bit theatrical and even circus-like (vide the intro in Żółta Pieśń na Koniec) and a bit melancholical. The nostalgical and poetic aspect of their songs is quite often broken by subtly visceral if there is such a thing de-composition of the mood often accomplished in production and how the themes are being conducted. Sometimes it is quite motoric theme as in Pierwsza Pieśń Rewolucyjna.
There are lots of pieces to this puzzle and lots of aspects to be puzzled about. On one hand there are influences of new wave and its poetic but in a more psychodelic hue close to Edward Ka-Spell. On the other hand there is plenty of other influences which you should check yourself.
