At times blending different elements together in a manner of joining the dots of the seemingly not related bits and bobs is a gateway towards comprehending all those and inventing something that actually resonates with a good bit of quality.

Originally comissioned by the FRIKAR dance company for their performance "Skaut" which theme was to unfold the layers of the body woven with different parts of culture and especially ethnic aspect of it.

Lokk bears the beautiful and almost frivolous aspect of the improvisation and flirtatious relationship with ethnic music but also does add up extra elements like dub sensibility and free jazz thread. It's both groovy and has an element of entertaining adventure.
