Noise to Body, Repairs in D by Lunt
Lunt is a project of Latvian artist - Žils Deless-Vēliņš. He has quite a long experience of composing electronic experimental music which has its own trademark and taste that you can't get anywhere else.
The first sounds and sensations I got was not dissimilar from what I felt when I first listened to Tod Dockstader - something that was eerily familiar yet it was sounding absolutely unique and I couldn't help but thinking that it is something that will stay with me for quite a while.
Noise to Body, Repairs is something of an interesting document. It shows how much you can filter your sensitivity through different genres and labels of modern composition and different sub-genres of modern electronic experimental genre. Žils knows exactly what he is doing with the way he leads the narrative in this material. It feels very personal on certain level and it would definitely give you an idea of emotional hailstorm transposed and elevated to the point of even mystical level.
Nicely released by Public Eyesore on cassette it will definitely help you to ponder on both: the state of modern experimental electronics that is moving along smoothly and how you can add an emotional depth to somewhat intimate form of the musical expression.
