Relative Resonance by Feat. Kris Davis, Chris Speed, Chris Tordini & Devin Gray
Devin Gray is a musical chameleon and a shapeshifter in the most of the beautiful ways.
Relative resonance released 11 years ago is a great piece of harmonic jazz - almost classical with bebop influences - narrated by saxophone, piano and rhythm section.
A pleasure to listen and beautifully balanced between the instruments and how much they add up to the colour palette of this album.
If you need an album that doesn't engage too much with experimentation and you are looking into harmonic tonalities - this one is for you.
