Home Is by Fallen

Lorenzo Bracaloni who works under the moniker Fallen strikes again with his new album released by Shimmering Moods.
It is a bit problematic (which is great actually) to classify Lorenzo's work. It is composed and produced with such and ease that you barely think of putting it into a certain file.
First track "If memories were scents" sets the tone of the whole album - it is dreamy and atmospheric and in many ways hipnagogic - it has this dreamlike atmosphere that is undeniably his style. And yet there is something profoundly classical in it as well.
"Velvet horizon" is a bit different as it has this guitar theme that is an introduction to something deeper that comes with the main synth theme.
"Home is" brings a subtlety and nuance that is the core of this album. Both mysterious and sensual gives you an almost intimate insight into what is in artist's mind.
Same with the next track "Oxygen and skin" - a study of almost microtonal sounds at the beginning that is broken by a melancholic and evocative theme.
In the whole course of the album, Lorenzo never strays away from his both tender and tight vision. It is easy to recognize his style where all the elements are balanced within equation - atmospheric drones, experimental ambience, classical themes and software processing that makes it feel nice to listen to.
Looking forward to the next album.
