OTTO LINDHOLM FortyTwo LP Totalism TT001
His third album released by Totalism consists of two 20something minute tracks based on octatonic scale. Otto Lindholm opens up a veil of intimacy and evocative melancholy in carefully composed and masterfully stroked pieces. You could probably easily label them as modern classical composition but there is more to it if you think of all the little elements and melodies and how the tracks are slowly unfolding themselves to the listener.
It definitely dwells on the themes of time and how the opposites of different elements in music can create such an effect that can help you to understand where you can pick up or start your experience and where you can cease it.
