Akusmata by Antenna Non Grata

Antenna Non Grata is a label from Poland that releases both forms physical and digital output.
And what a fulcrum that is. Akusmata is probably the best when it comes to the diversity of the music they present.
What's the spectrum? How can you label it? It would be difficult to say with the magnitude of different worlds here.
With haunting ambience of Paulina Miu which brings a lunar energy to her track - with her experience we are introduced to some sort of trip towards ancestral energy, something that cannot be discovered otherwise than just digging deep in both yourself and your surrounding.
Live at Schireker Strasse by Paulina Owczarek, Eric Bauer, Kamil Karolczuk is a full blown improvisational piece, subtle and sometimes frenetic with dark undertones, getting the best of acoustic instruments.
Adam Gołebiewski with Michael Esposito come with a wonderful maths of hisses and hums to create a landscape of mirages and illusory geographical points, a voyage of no return. And comes with an interesting melancholical coda.
Ludomir Franczak composition starts with an interesting chaos but soon evolves into more introspective almost inaudible ambient made of prepared field recordings
Modelbau - Frans de Waard's project is another interesting journey into the world of lo-fi ambience with the hum and hiss soundscapes but not only in terms of use electronic equipment but also using the sounds of water in different places to bring the aquatic energy to the face of music. Quite intriguing and done effortlessly.
Gintas K is a master changeling - you really never know what he will be up to with using different idioms in his work. In case - his track here brings the best out of the modality and some modular and granular synthesis of the experimental music you can think of - a narrative of ambiguity and elusive emotions.
Monika Pich's track has an interesting narratives in it - with voiceover and experimental soundscape she conveys more than just nuances of the musical form - changeable and whimsical but also quite literary - a sophisms and meditations on human nature. Quite baffling really.
GW94 is a refreshing voice of a musical maverick - a glitchy trip of melodies and subtle experimentation.
Bartek Kujawski known from Mik productions and his solo stuff never lets you down with his strategies of spookiness, eloquence and humour - glitchy post techno sensitivity taking you astray.
Grupa Etyka Kurpina has something orchestral about them - an operatic oneiric tale of horror and humour with turntablism, instrumental parts and pomposity that has the weight of thriller soundtrack.
Rado Noise Duo is post-industrial experimentation gone awry - the radio signal reminds me of trips to the never never land in rural Australia where every sound matters, hence your attention span is enormous. Wonderful introspection of radiosphere.
The last track - Voices of Cosmos is a full blown ambient made up of things that we don't tend to think of "ambient" tools - but it shows how little is necessary to take you sky high - somewhere completely unexpected...such as this beautiful compilation.
