Straying somewhat from typical drone ambient record - Nótt by Gareth Davis and Duane Pitre has this compulsiveness about it that pushes you to think how much a single sound can make a whole lot of difference when it comes to creating suspense and how much discipline does it take to creat a short - roughly 34 minutes piece that has the equlibrium of a soundtrack hidden in a tone that never understimates the qualities of itself - the length, the perseverance of it and foremostly the scale. It takes you yonder and far beyond.
