Once in a while you find a project which is traversing the borders of the genres and sets up a new path.
With new Propan album released by Sofa label, we have a chance to embrace a soulful, genuine experimentalism. Two protagonistas of the whole affair - Norwegian vocal artists - Natali Garner and Ina Sagstuen have managed to blend so many influences - through vocal comes a very malleable tissue of changeable substance that can both be moulded into basically anything.
Propan stays away from any academical rigour - there is a psychodelic aspect to their improvisational value that cannot be overseen here.
