Out of many albums I have listened to recently there are but a few who approach the creative process so directly and on a subtle, direct level as this one.

Rafał and Jerzy, both musicians of long term creative and musical experience, both trademarks, brands in their own respect in terms of what they have created bring forth somewhat extraordinary project.

A duo, out of the definition is a lineup that involves a dialogue, an invitation to attentive listening. A duo of two experienced musicians who actively listen to each other is simply a delight. And such word can define this tableau that is offered here.

A freely improvised, yet in a compositional aspect quite a complex set of tracks that feel ripped out gently of nutritious soil that both of the musicians have been elaborately working on. The effect of field recorded talks and background sounds at first makes you feel that there is something trivial going on but there is nothing further from the truth.

The musical intelligence and a constant vigilance in terms of reacting to each other is somewhat uncommon. In a world of oversaturated need for stimuli - this album is a fresh breath of clean air and much needed invitation to listen. 

On one hand we have a sound that is sparingly exhausted through both artists' apparatuses but when you look and listen closer you see a kaleidoscope and a magnitude of means to convey sound, to convey emotions and ideas through it.

It's an opaque mural that has so much to say. Dig it!
