Til Vinden I Dine Øjne by øjeRum

øjeRum is an artist based in Denmark and his newest album beautifully mastered by Lawrence English from Brisbane's Room40 is just out.

Four tracks of majestic ambient music - dreamy, repetitive with a slight hint of field recorded sources.

A beautiful album for meditating, pondering and feeling the depth of fleeting moments.

The whole minimalist tradition is mirrored here in a nice, illustrious and unobvious, discreet way.

Sonic poetry of the best type

A whisper in the branches, a breath between worlds.

This is an album born of wind, shaped by air and absence, by the slow erosion of time.

Two long movements, drifting in slow circles. The movements do not begin, nor do they end - they linger, like light dissolving in mist.

A meditative hum, a tide of air and absence. A gaze lost in motion.

Here, repetition is not just repetition but the turning of invisible pages, the unfolding of a landscape where nothing ever truly appears or vanishes.

To listen is to stand still inside the wind, to let it pass through your eyes, your hands, your memory.

This is not so much music as it is a place. A place where wind sings through bone, where time folds into itself, where sound becomes breath.
