Alex Steward based in Leicestershire, UK weaves a thin thread of sound making a net of synaptic connections - it does make you feel the goosebumps.
Using seemingly simple strategies for movements and micro-orchestration - you get the feeling that he is not merely a copy of a copy of yet another post rock/ambient clichee but rather anindividual who knows how to use drones, arpeggios, sound effects that are uncanny but necessary. And above all - the whole soundscape of this album is a cinematic experience shimmering with melody and beautiful textures.
It's a dessert worth waiting for.
