The Shape Of Love by Temporal Marauder

From fiction to reality, Temporal Marauder has finally shaped its psychedelic branches into a new set of sounds. A duo of Joseph Raglani and Erica Sparks brings the best possible soundtrack for this summer.

Soaked in echoed, reverberated dreamy and hazy atmosphere, Erica and Joseph bring the best out of the psychedelic pop idiom into the world of modern production.

Each of the seven tracks on this album is highly balanced in terms of timing and the means the used - it's not overproduced but takes out the excellency of something elusive, melodious and gentle that this genre and the fruit of their work needs.

The arrangements and nuances in their work can make you think that The Shape of Love is not a mirror image of the inspirations from the past but actually the re-worked version of them. By the beginning of the third track "State of the station" it gets to the point where you can actually feel how beautifully they blend a touch of synth pop lead with shoegaze, their own version of 60's psychedelia and that impossible to imitate thing that makes them original.

A retrofuturism at its best!
