Impermanence by Adele H

An album unlike anything else...but how has it happened and  how is it done. Voice and piano...
14 tracks with a few alternate versions for a good measure.
Adele H is making a grand entrance and a great follow up of her debut album "Civilization" from 2018.
A collection of somber songs that have an emotional depth and somewhat even deeper spiritual aspect. A manifesto on womanhood and fragility of life, life beyond the bodily capsule.
In those only seemingly simple passages where there are some references like Eric Satie or minimal music in general come to mind, there is certain type of peace that is rare to find. A long list of other artists that could be put on the list to have some sort of reference might be long but all in all, this is really unnecessary and unimportant.
Adele makes her album even more personal by lessening the distance between her voice and the piano. In terms of the composition but also the production, simplistic and heartfelt makes it very special.
At times when you switch yourself off and listen to her voice - it is as if an idiom of some pop song pops into the belt but the seriousness and the ambience that the album creates makes it feel more grounded.
The tracks pretty quickly and I was left with the feelings and cravings for more which makes it even more special.
An album from a talented musician but also a mature artist who can convey more than you can possibly imagine with her two instruments.
