Enjoy Country Music by Domiziano Maselli / Tommaso Rolando

A new release from Domiziano Maselli / Tommaso Rolando duo is a document from the improvisation that took place in a warehouse with a natural reverb that enhanced the recording to the point of adding extra quality and refining the structural build-up of their improvisation. Recorded in winter 2022, quite naturally invites you to stop and focus.
Not only based on the actual mediums, instruments both musicians are using but also based on the acoustic set up and the PA they are using brings you clean-cut session that is both nuanced and focused on getting the most out of their instruments.
Some parts have this directness and sense of touching the sound almost physically - especially when Tommaso plays his parts. It gets even more interesting when Domiziano joins with his electronic set up - which he does without hastiness and with a subtle touch.
Great album that lives by the example of mutual communication and attention to detail.
