New album from Michał Fundowicz and  Dan Michiu from Beach Buddies Records is a joy to listen when you are into lo fi or no-fi sector of tape and DIY electronics with a twist of plunderphonics and rather difficult to define sounds. It is definitely out there but not to the point of being incomprehensive.

An edition of 30 cassettes gives a wide range of different techniques towards improvisation and a bit more thought through techniques of creating some climatic textures. 

Both Michał and Dan are not only get into fisticuffs with the form but add more and emphasize the narrative and the contents of it. Sometimes it sounds grotesque and noisy as in Radio Cobra, sometimes it has this eerie feel to it as in Rykoszet. It is not mere an experiment as such but an honest work towards something more than just plundering the sounds here and there. Quite often it is understanding how much you can get out of sound recorded at home and manipulating them to the point of being intriguing and funny - Om Amfibie for instance.

Overall it is an interesting sonic adventure and definitely something to look forward to re: future releases.
