Richard Haynes who is an Australian clarinetist based in Switzerland comes with his new album this year released by Swiss label Cubus.

His album "Ghost of motion" is a collection of works from different years of his artistic career. With quite an academic approach and great understanding of the theory and practical approach towards his own craft we are are granted with 7 points of entry- 7 tracks that possess a great deal of intense musical exploration and have an immense musicality in a sense that his album can both be used as an introduction to modern composition, improvisation but also a dramatic soundtrack of poetry and vision.

Richard is quite active in his own field but never sits on laurels of academical approach where the density of the contents, quite often goes unmatched with the overall shape of the message.

An excellent album with lots of nuances and details.
