Live at Day of Noise by Ezra Sturm & Ernesto Diaz-Infante

Ernesto Diaz-Infante is joining forces with his son Ezra and wife Marjorie on this live album.

Two tracks both spanning around 30 minutes improvised this year 2024, in January and February.

Each improvisation is a hands on approach towards creating something both visceral and intuitive at the same time. First part is probably one of the best electric guitar improvisation I have heard in a while - using lots of different techniques to interact with an instrument and at the same time the commotion that both Ernesto and Ezra are creating has this unique quality that has become timeless.

When you take quite illustrative tonalities, blend them with pretty physical style that both gentleman use to play the guitar as well as sonorous textures it makes a perfect sense.

Behind all this, there is a huge landscape of American lo-fi freak folk psychodelia experiment that is permeating the whole album. This sense of joy and curiosity that fuelled everything that happened in the last few decades of any guitar-related experiment is still here - validated by the fact that Ernesto is passing on his passion for music to his son.
