ELSA BERGMAN PLAYON CRAYON Playon Crayon
An interesting project started and devised by double bass player Elsa Bergman, residing in Sweden. Originally initiated and conceived in pre-pandemic period, an assembly of excellent musicians were led by colour coded graphic scores. Quite a good choice for improvisational project led to the arabesque output. Playon Crayon is bright, dynamic and has plenty to offer, especially to other musicians who can put themselves into the position of a listener. Such vivid collection of undertones, hues and traces of anything that is beautiful in an impressionistic kind of way. A method that was used here helps the listener to understand that it is more compatible to embrace music through guided imaginative process. Definitely something to learn from...
