Piernicola Di Muro is an Italian born artist who has been active as a producer for tv and film. Sterted releasing his music not so long time ago.
His new album released as DL and CD is coming out now.
Electronic in form with his background of discovering and exploring the nuances takes its toll in the finest of ways. You can feel the great way he can lead anywhere he can knowing his own tongue of expression and being self confident about it.
There is lots of modular synthesis here which is a precedent actor in this 12 piece play. Musical tonalities, harmonic and melodic as much as you can only imagine. There is a great linear narrative about those tracks, hint of nostalgia and romanticism that to me blends the best out of 1970's and 1980's electronic soundtracks from such luminaries as Tangerine Dream, John Carpenter, Vangelis, Giorgio Moroder and Bruce Smeaton.
Just a hint of experimentalism, and clean cut, smooth production.
