Monty Adkins - Empire
How about revisiting Andy Warhol's work?
Monty Adkins did that in a special sequence of nine chords dervied from bell sounds. Nine bell sequence he used at NY Littleport Caters. Nine permutations happening ever 48 minutes - exactly the time needed to play 10 reels of the whole "Empire" movie. Along with the ambience sounds and other instruments sounds he created a landscape scenery.
The cyclical spect of this creative concept is quite alluring. Putting the maths aside it's a stunning piece of conceptual ambient music
