Akio Suzuki is a unsung titan of improvised music and the creative narrative that he coins through his innovative yet seemingly simple techniques towards achieving those.

Gently stepping stones in his live, graceful outputs, Akio is a master of time frame - knows exactly how to create a microcosm of events not tiring his listeners and making sure there is some poignancy in it as well as a value of insightful, meditative observation of self.

Stone is a live set from 1994 that proves to be timeless and poetic at the same time. Its subtlety and strength prevails the obscurity and setting the framework of ''experimental'' label as  it is accessible to listeners who are not normally accustomed to it.

Like a natural element it has its taste and specific resonance, qualities you can discover only by attentive listening.
