merch community 2XLIVE88 by Het Zweet

Het Zeet was a project of Marien Van Oers from Breda (NL), active from 1983 to 1988. A majestic drones section along with tribalistic drumming and percussion as well as spoken word are just a few of the elements of the whole compositional work of late Marien who sadly passed away in 2013.
These two cds released in a nice pacakage by none other than Erik Van Havere from EE Tapes is a testimony to his live output.
Het Zweet live was exceptionaly driven and definitely one of those post-industrial monikers that stay with you for quite a while. Thanks to open minded approach - you have a whole theatricality of his shows laid out quite explicitly. There is a narrative to his show - an evocative and in many ways romantic feel to it pushes you towards understanding how music could be used in tribal culture.
There is a subtle poetry in this material that has vanished from music hopefully not forever. Thank you, Erik for taking good care of the legacy to preserve it in this form.

Unreleased live recordings, probably his last ones.
